Common Core MAP: Introducing our Technology-Enhanced Items

Common Core MAP Assessment Video

We’ve evolved our interim assessments to measure students’ growth and proficiency on Common Core standards. Computer adaptive Common Core MAP® asks students to demonstrate greater depths of knowledge about core subjects, use technology in their answers, and provide evidence of learning—all key requirements of Common Core State Standards. Watch our Common Core MAP: New Item Types video to get a look what your students will experience.

Showcased item types and features include:

  • Drag and Drop, Click and Pop, and Hot Spot (Technology-Enhanced Items used in reading, language, and mathematics assessments)
  • Common Stimulus (Item Feature used in reading, language, and mathematics assessments) and Graphing Calculator (Item Feature used in secondary mathematics assessments)

Like state-aligned MAP, Common Core MAP provides you with valid, reliable, and consistent student achievement and growth data that’s both useful and instructionally relevant.

Please note: while some new item types have launched, others are slated for future release.
